Went to a wedding shower for a friend today. It was pretty fun, except I was pretty beat. Just sat around with Rachael and Ruth, when she could. Sometimes the happy couple, Jocelyn and Andrews. Andrews? Yeah. I can't type any-mo. (Yes, I do have the sleeve off right now. Wore it all day, and now my arm hurts.)


I recall having this thought before, but now it seems that everytime i'm with the crew, namely J and A, I realize how lucky I am. Not for their friendship, which I am, but that I don't have a relationship like that. I know that sounds bad, and I do love those guys, but to me, something's just off. They snipe at each other a little too much. And while I don't doubt they love each other, it seems like some comments hit a little too close to home, are a little more mean than joking, as they should be. I dunno. And she kind of talks down to him, at least that's how it seems. Maybe it doesn't bother him, who knows. But when I see things like that, I don't know. I realize how lucky I am to be in the relationship i'm in? That's probably it. *shrugs*


Anyway I'm really looking forward to the bachelorette party. First is a sex toy party here at my lovely abode. Then to the spa, which we've rented for the day, then out to eat. It should be a lot of fun ... a long day, but fun. I'm selfishly excited because this will be about a week and a half after my treatment has ended, and I think, after a year of torture, I deserve to treat my body to something nice. (Massage and hot tub, anyone?) sweet. That, and as time goes on I get to know J and Rachael better, and we're developing a nice group of friends. It's pretty cool. I'm essited.

I'm also f'n tired, so hopefully this shit i'm downloading will fucking download already!
